I'm speaking this Sunday. There are some/many subjects where I'm completely clueless and prayer is one of them - and that's the subject I've been given. So I wondering if y'all could help me. I'm looking at it from the angle of 'Prayer for Skeptics'. And I'm not going to mention anybody's name during the talk - I'm just wanting to get a feel for people's thoughts. So my questions for you are:
- Do you find prayer difficult? Why/why not? - Do you have any other insights or thoughts to share on prayer? - Do you have any tips on how I can say absolutely nothing of depth and still look really brainy doing it?
Help.

U should get those questions from Jeremys talk at dojo and not neccesarily answer them but get the whole church thinking about them coz they were aparently really good questions.

hey richard here are my thoughts
i dont find prayer overly difficult, because of my understanding of who god is and what he has done for me in my life. And in my understanding of how good (human) relationships work that of which is on the basis of communication. can you have a relationship with someone that is non-communicative? yes but that relationsiph will be skin deep and limited to your experiences together, but throught communication you develop emotional connection and the relationship becomes much more personal rather than just a friendship as you explore each others ideas, thought, views on opinions.
and thats how i guess it should be with god right we want to connect with him emotionally as well as physically being in his presence and communication via prayer seems to be the best gap filler.
prob too late and missed input in your sermon.
