Kiaora everybody!
So, this is the thread to watch for stuff happening in the Youth Community over summer. Also - this is your guys opportunity to chin-wag about what you'd love to do over these blessed holiday months. I'm planning on having some low key teaching at random intervals, hopefully some good times BBQs, and also doing some community service - but I'm fully open to ideas.
One quick little restriction - if we're doing stuff in the middle of the day (which we probably will at times) - I don't think we can go to far cos there ain't many people with full licenses who aren't doing anything in the middle of the day - so we might have to keep it either small and local.
But seriously - and I know you guys know this - remember that faith is about decisions - and you are the ones who can make those decisions. So please encourage community in your own lives - organise a BBQ for the youth community, go to the beach with your mates, hang out with people you wouldn't normally hang out, get together and pray with some friends, read the Bible together, talk deep together, go for a hike together - you can do all these things without the official RSCC Youth Community Stamp of Approval. There isn't even an actual stamp - so you're fully free!
Watch this space for upcoming events!

Alright everyone,
Apologies for the lack of Summer Youth activities this week - my week has turned slightly chaotic, and had stuff popping up everywhere! My bad.
Anyhow - here's some stuff coming up:
Friday - This is tentative, I'll post later on to confirm it - but I think I'm going to go get church a Christmas tree tomorrow, and will need some help decorating it tomorrow afternoon. Will only take maybe an hour - should be good fun. I'll confirm a time if it's happening - probably about 1pm.
Next Wed - Fri - Depending on the weather, one day we'll shoot out to the Gascoignes (a brilliant family from our church) and paint their deck. Fun in the sun with paint! Again, I'll confirm what day this is.
Next Wednesday evening - By popular demand, we're going to be playing a casual game of basketball in the Rally Hall, at 7pm. Will be heaps of fun, all welcome - might go get a casual coke afterwards.
Thursday or Friday - Lunch in town. I vote we hit up Subway (depending on what the Sub of the day is), or a cafe or something, grab some lunch, hang out.
As always - give me your feedback - spread the word, and let me know if you are coming!
Chur!

Subway has my vote too. Friday, being tomorrow friday? If so that would make it easy to cruise from lunch to the christmafying of the pine tree.

I'm slightly sick of Subway (that happens when you have it for dinner 4 nights a week) but would be keen for that. I would help out tomorrow but I can't, and I should be able to do stuff next week

Sorry guys, that was my bad for the confusion. If you look at Jeremy's first posting I'll note he's actually listed the events in chronological order. Thats all good, I can most likely help tomorrow though.

Someone is going to get some serious Hulk Hogan action if that tinsel has been removed from that mic-stand. It was practically the only decoration I could achieve attachment to desired area with.
